I’m a writer and rhetorical critic obsessed with Reformed Christianity and free-market anarchism and first-wave gothic rock. A firm believer in the heavy artillery of words [poemunition].
I like writers who aren’t afraid to be reckless—who have the audacity to say compelling things—but who, at the same time, are very careful about the way in which they say things.
Outside of tutoring student writers on a regular basis, I’ve worked as a senior research fellow with the Institute for Public Dialogue, a rabid freelancer partnering with various businesses and non-profits, and a consultant filing numerous Freedom of Information Act requests on behalf of investigative reporters. My politically oriented and academic writing has been published on Reformed Libertarian and Freedom Bunker, while my creative writing has so far been featured in The Dial, Empirical Magazine, The Penwood Review, riverrun, and the short story collection Fireside Dreams.
